Got my name tag and pass from justine. :D The best thing to know is that my colleagues are all nice people. :) Quite fun walking here and there. Many labs for the staff to conduct their experiments. One of my colleagues brought me around the place to explore. So interesting! There is a room, "animal facility", whereby all the mice are kept. Whenever you walked past, you can sense the overwhelming smell coming from that room. It stinks like hell! =/ Those mice are bought from the company, "Animal Resources Centre" [Australia], for the study of cancer. My colleagues told me that i would get the chance to dissect mice in school. Eww... haha! Ooo... saw many poly students having their attachments there. >_< Freaking science stuffs were all pasted along the wall of corridors. AND, i saw biochemical pathways!!! The 3rd edition by Gerhard. 2 parts of it! It's damn scary. >.< Your eyes can roll if you were to study all the pathways. =x Got to know that one of my colleagues is studying the same thing as me. Same thing as in the modules, subjects and all. However, he is now pursuing his degree at MDIS. Wow... and im glad that i have learnt it now. But of course, his is more indept. (",) Well, my workscope is basically the same as what i have done in Kingsmen even though both are of different fields. POs, invoices, mails, access to excel and stuffs like that. Thus, i think it's not much of a problem to me. Hees. ^^
Walked to pearl centre with my colleagues to have lunch. Back at 1 plus. Ate snow-skin mooncakes given by the suppliers. Lol. Time seems to pass very fast today. Headed home at 6pm. All i can see was the crowd at the traffic lights and MRT stations. Roads were congested. Reason being, that's the time when people headed home from work. Fortunately, it took me only 30 minutes from outram park all the way to tampines. And, from tampines interchange to my house, it took me another 15 minutes walk. So, total 45 minutes. Alright lah, not that bad yeah, i guess? Hehe. ;))
Shall sleep early tonight. Have to squeeze in the MRT with the crowd early in the morning tomorrow! =)
