Wahhoo~ Second day of work. Fun fun and more fun. Got the chance to go in to the animal holding room to explore. Much more stronger smell inside compared to outside. However, im quite used to it already. Haha. Yet, still put on the mask. Lab coats and gloves must be worn too but it's ok for me to just go in a short while. Mice were all kept in the cage. Some are being injected with cancer cells to see whether there is any sign of tumor growth. Afterwhich, they will inject some cure to the mice. If it is successful, this means that the medicine or whatever is suitable for cancer patients. The mice will die if the cure is not suitable. Each dead mice is being put in a plastic bag and kept in the fridge. I felt so disgusted the moment the staff opened the fridge. Some are still very soft while some are hard, frozen already. Eww...! =/ Oh yeah, 30 mice from Australia "reached" Singapore today in the afternoon. Hehe... and i took photos of those cute mice. ;) The next place i explored is the glasswares and autoclave room, where all the glasswares are being washed and autoclaved. Oh, and i found out something today. One box/roll of parafilm cost about $20 plus while one pipette costs around $300. (",) Haha... come to think of that, i remembered amy and i took some parafilm home that time. Oops, LOL! =x Other than those plastic ones, there is also the liquid type. O.o

Lunch today. Took the shuttle bus from one block of SGH to tiong bahru market. Ate fish soup. Took the bus back again and reached at 1plus. Went home at 6pm. Tired.

Hope can experience more things everyday. *anticipate* =)

p.s: stephen, bring me to the ops theatre one day? Hahaha. ;D
I just think tissue repository is fun! Hee. Shall see. ^^
